Several Southern Living Magazine Wren House and
Fran Hanson Discovery Center basket patterns are noted, along with original award winning designs and baskets juried for state conventions in the southeast.
Attend a Basket weaving workshop with Pati English,
Juried Artisan and Resident Artist,
and you will weave a basket of your choice while discovering the same skills
Native Americans, early settlers, farmers, our ancestors, utilized to complete a
handwoven basket. These are the skills that have "nearly been forgotten" and
the impetus for this South Carolina Artist to keep the art of basketry alive.
Workshops are offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays at the artist's studio
in Seneca, South Carolina and other locations in SC, NC, GA, FL, KY, TN.
