| Basket Weaving An American Tradition Twenty-one years ago, March 1987, a friend named Desi asked me to attend a Basket Weaving Class with her. I went one Tuesday evening and was immediately hooked. Since then I have completed more than 2200 baskets of various shapes and sizes. In addition, I have instructed over 2300 students of all ages and continue to teach at state conventions, guild workshops, museums, and at my home studio in Seneca, SC.
